The 2019 International Workshop on Advanced E-Learning (AEL’2019) will be co-located with the 12th International Conference on Ubi-media Computing (U-Media’2019). AEL’2019 is an international major forum for researchers and practitioners in various disciplines to share and exchange experiences in the emerging research area of advanced E-learning.
The main theme of AEL’2019 is “Active Learning with Advanced Educational Technologies”. Active learning refers to a form of learning in which instruction aims to involve students in the learning process more directly than in other methods. That is, active learning is when students are actively involved in the learning process. Modern educational technologies can be useful for implementing better active learning. Technologies can help students better interact and engage with the material.
AEL’2019 will cover various aspects of pedagogical principles, designs, ergonomics and technological issues related the main theme. The workshop of this year will focus on advanced E-learning that facilitates active learning in authentic learning environments or ecosystems with wearable devices, IOT, cloud service, deep learning or other advanced pedagogical and technological tools. Therefore, AEL’2019 encourages experts to develop novel and imaginative ideas to explore and meet the needs of these above-mentioned rapidly expanding and exciting fields of research.
